Robyn’s smile is infectious. I dare you not to smile with her. Reggie and Robyn were married at the Victorian in Santa Monica, a venue that has quickly become one of our favorites for an intimate, romantic wedding.

Yes that is custom hot sauce. Yes they are awesome!

We love it when couples break out into a surprise choreographed routine during the first dance!

PX70 Color Shade Polaroid Film

I just received my first few boxes of the all new Polaroid PX70 color shade push film. I am so excited about learning how to use this film and experimenting with it, I hope to incorporate this film into my weddings next year! I love this film because it delivers the promise if the unexpected, I can control content and composition, but the color will be impacted by the whims of heat and light. I think the key to shooting this kind of experimental film is to try to find your own look with it despite its inconsistency, I’m excited to get started! Happy weekend everyone:)

hawaii

jamie and i got to sneak away for a few days of rest and relaxation in hawaii. four days, one moped accident and one 15 hour flight ordeal later we are home. funny thing, all i remember is the laughing. which is exactly why i love this girl so much.
aforementioned moped accident happened day one, which killed any beach time for jamie, but she still put her feet in the water and made the most of it.
all in all, an adventure we will never forget, and one that makes us long for sweet days of nothing at home, a treasure far to rare these days for us.
all below taken on expired polaiod film stock, damn i love that film.

I heart fuji 100b, fuji’s answer to polaroid instant film. I took these photographs before last weekends wedding on an old polaroid camera. We had a client ask about our polaroid books, fearing we wouldn’t have access to polaroid film next year. Fear not, Fuji makes its own awesome version of instant film and polaroid is making a comeback! These are combination of polaroid and fuji stock.
