Sans cameron who is 12 now and never home. The strange thing about parenthood is how abruptly things start (one day you are childless, the next your world is upside down) and how abruptly things change (one day they are all over you, the next you wonder where they spend all their time). Jamie and I spend a lot of time with the youngest two, and precious little time with the oldest two. It’s just all going so quickly. Sigh.

3. candy bar. CANDY BAR
4. amazing florals. Well done Kristin. Mixing desert succulents with beachy florals was an inspired choice.

7. best flower girl dresses. EVER. With Dawn’s handmade jewelry to go with them.
8. star wands
9. jamie rocking the heck out of the lomo.

10. Dawn and Joe. Two people that prove that true love is most definitely worth the wait.

She held the cabernet up to the light, slowly swirling the glass as she prepared to taste her second varietal. That’s when she noticed Greg pounding his fifth glass, looking far too anxious for a man in the midst of a wine tour. She followed him outside as the rest of the tour headed in to see the distillery. What was he up to? Five minutes later, under the shade of a trellis with miles of callaway winery grape vine stretching out behind her, Stephanie figured it out. Greg got down on his knee and asked Ms. to become Mrs. Five months later they decided to go back to the callaway winery with us in tow to memorialize this very special place. We had a blast taking pictures, drinking callaway wine and looking forward to their wedding this August. Thanks for a great afternoon and a great bottle of wine too!

I brought the hasselblad along for this shoot, typically I shoot polaroid and black and white with this camera but I’m loving the color and the square format!

Love this set.
Peeked into the distillery as they’d missed out on this last time, for good reason;)

Los Angeles Under Water

I grabbed my Hasselblad and some 100b fuji instant and headed out as the sun set. I can’t remember the last time it rained this much in Los Angeles, it almost feels like we’re in another city. This was my favorite, it looks like the clouds are dancing over the city.
