Jamie planned Kira’s surprise 16th with the help of our dear friend Hyo and as well as Kira’s trio of “besties.” I think they did such a great job with all the details, and the night was such a great opportunity to see Kira in her element. I didn’t shoot much, too busy chaperoning, haha.
I can’t believe we have a 16 yr old, I still feel 16 myself most days!
Started off here at Blo Out Lounge in Pasadena, such a fun place for Kira to get her hair and makeup done, and cold drinks for dad while he waited was a bonus.

When I first moved to this country from Australia I was impressed most by American’s unbridled optimism. It created an energy and industry that made nothing impossible. Robyn’s smile is infectious. I dare you not to smile with her. Reggie and Robyn were married at the Victorian in Santa Monica, a venue that has quickly become one of our favorites for an intimate, romantic wedding.

Yes that is custom hot sauce. Yes they are awesome!

We love it when couples break out into a surprise choreographed routine during the first dance!

Lovely couple that came all the way down from San Fran for an eshoot, and were kind enough to bring us the most delicious coffee.

Sans cameron who is 12 now and never home. The strange thing about parenthood is how abruptly things start (one day you are childless, the next your world is upside down) and how abruptly things change (one day they are all over you, the next you wonder where they spend all their time). Jamie and I spend a lot of time with the youngest two, and precious little time with the oldest two. It’s just all going so quickly. Sigh.
