Vivian and James
We fond THE BEST photo spot in LA ever. Ever. More to come, here are a few of the polaroids.

2 Had a fun night last night with Steve and his stunning bride Hayley (who could have stepped directly from an episode of Mad Men) at the Adamson House on PCH in Malibu. Adamson House is a classic California home built in 1930 for Rhoda and Merritt Adamson, no idea who they were but I can tell you they were lucky to have such an amazing home directly on the Malibu coastline. I can’t wait to share this wedding, in the meantime, these were my favorite ‘polaroid’ scans from the ceremony.
First, a polaroid taken at the Viceroy, easily the coolest hotel in LA.

This is what a twenty minute engagement session looks like! We carved out an hour, but ended up grabbing drinks instead, so the session happened on the walk to the rehearsal and dinner in and around Washington’s DC’s Capitol Hill. As they are avid photographers, we even let Kevin and Lindsay in on the fun with the leica!

Resulting shot: Go Lindsay!

See that smile right there. It. Did. Not. Go. Away. All. Weekend. Wedding pictures to come!

Most of these are shot with the canon eos 1v on fuji 400h, the bw are shot on leica with kodak’s soon to be extinct bw400cn. Boo to kodak.
I love traveling with Jamie, mostly because she’s the most relaxed person in the universe and rarely has an agenda beyond drinking coffee and eating good food. This is good because I always have an agenda, typically one that requires way too much walking. DC is dream place to visit because I am an American history nerd. We packed a fair amount into one free day:)
Actual mold on exhibit at the Smithsonian, taken from Lincoln’s face the last year of the civil war, a short time before his assassination.

Pearl Harbor Day:( And my birthday:)
Happy mom’s day to the perfect mother and wife (and travel companion), perfect not because you don’t make mistakes, but because you never let them drag you down. I adore you.
There is a tangible, hold it in your hand yumminess to instant film that we just can’t get enough of. We have started offering polaroid sessions on or after wedding day (or for any old reason because is there ever a reason not to shoot instant?) These were taken in DC last weekend day of wedding. Many more to share next week from this amazing, heartfelt and perfect wedding. For more info email info at jacshoot dot com.
We live in a digital world now but seeing your work in print is still pretty darn exciting:) Thanks Megan for making this happen with Everyday Magazine, where apparently now you can get good tips on cheap dinner and wedding tips too!

just friends. but still cute together;)

You might wonder, why is this man carrying two blocks of wood? To which I would respond, why would a man wearing such a shirt not be carrying two blocks of wood?

happy anniversary. Thanks for showing me what real love looks like for all these years!

Tradition dictates that I take Kira to get her ears pierced. I guess these are the times she’ll remember? I loathe malls so went to a specialist in Pasadena.

The owners name is Brett, he is awesome.

Fear.

Shock.
