Sarah and Abe, Hawaii Wedding
Jamie and I had the great fortune of shooting Sarah and Abe’s amazing wedding at the Lanikuhonua Cultural Estate in Kapolei, Hawaii. Lanikuhonua sits right on the shoreline and offers amazing views and grounds that form a blank canvas that creates limitless opportunities for creativity. I loved the thoughtful details Sarah and Abe brought to their wedding, from the sandals and umbrellas for guests to the images of their beloved dogs on their drink stirs, even the all white wedding attire; everything felt totally organic and totally them. We simply loved this wedding and everyone in it and hope to make it back to the beautiful shores of Hawaii soon.
Nerdy details: 100% film, shot on Fuji 400h, Kodak 160vc, ilford 3200 and kodak cn400bw using contax 645, leica m4 and hasselblad 501c.
