Steve and Hayley know how to pick their spots, they got ready at the Viceroy in Santa Monica. The Viceroy is such a classy spot, so much attention to detail and classic California chic. The wedding and reception were held on the grounds of Adamson House in Malibu. Adamson House was built in the 1930′s and manages to feel like someone’s backyard even though it’s a California historical landmark. All in all it was a beautiful day with two sweet and beautiful people.
Hayley looked a straight out of Mad Men, classic style.

Loved the bridesmaids dresses, the color felt very nostalgic and matched the retro vibe at Viceroy.

The Viceroy in Santa Monica is easily my favorite LA Hotel, I wish I could move in permanently.  Such great design and attention to detail and the rooms are so light and airy.

First look, gets me every time. 

After getting ready the party moved to Adamson House in Malibu.  Adamson House is the perfect venue for an early summer wedding.  Loved all the original tile work and this original Balboa mural on the pool house wall by Ejnar Hansen.

All color shot on the Leica M4 or the Contax on fuji 400h or 800z.  The square format shots are all on the Hasselblad 501 with Kodak BW400CN film.  Loved how these turned out.

All reception BW shot on Ilford 3200 metered at 1600 on the Leica m4. Love the nostalgic feel of the grain, so classic. If there’s one thing we love at a wedding, it’s buffet style eating and one thing that makes the buffet even better is mexican food! It’s a perfect thank you to your guests! The tortillas were even handmade on the spot, scrumptious!

We heart buffet style eating at weddings, and we heart mexican buffet even more.  Fresh tortillas made on the Adamson House grounds made this a particularly tasty meal!
